2025 Winter Competitive -Macomb County -Shelby Twp

3rd - 12th Grade Competitive Leagues (Same Format, Higher Competition):

Season Format:

Ready to take your game to the next level? This is the division for you! This program is designed for the best players in the Michigan Youth Basketball Leagues and other leagues to compete in a more competitive atmosphere. Our normal recreational leagues welcome everyone to play and there is a wide range of skill levels. This is for more advanced players for their age level.

This is a 8 week season. Each team has a one hour practice followed by a one hour game each week. Practices and games will take place on Saturdays between 8:00 am and 9:00 pm. Younger divisions will play in the earlier time slots.

Week 1: Meet and Greet - This is a 30 minute team meeting followed by a one hour practice. Coaches will distribute jerseys and other equipment ordered in registration at this meeting.

Weeks 2-7: Practice/games - Each team has a one hour practice followed by a one hour game each week.

Week 8: Playoffs for 3rd grade and up

Final practice/game for K-2nd grade

Practice & Game Locations: Immanuel Lutheran School (You do not have to be from Immanuel Lutheran School to play in the program)

Competitive 3rd-12th Grade Girl Leagues:

3rd/4th Grade, 5th/6th Grade, 7th/8th Grade and High School Grade Girls Divisions will play on Saturdays (Gym is reserved 8:00 am -9:00 pm). Grades may be combined based on numbers.

The Girls Divisions will be a 5 vs. 5, format. We try to limit teams to 10 players to maximize playing time. Top 4 teams in each division make the playoffs. All other teams will play a consolation game their last week.

Competitive 3rd-12th Grade Boy Leagues:

3rd/4th Grade, 5th/6th Grade, 7th/8th Grade and High School Boys Divisions will play on Saturdays (Gym is reserved 8:00 am -9:00 pm). Grades may be combined based on numbers.

The Boys Divisions will be a 5 vs. 5, format. We try to limit teams to 10 players to maximize playing time. Top 4 teams in each division make the playoffs. All other teams will play a consolation game their last week.

We do not combine more than 3 grades in a division. Practice/game times for all divisions could be between 8:00 am and 9:00 pm on Saturdays. We will not know exact times until after the registration deadline.

Meet and Greet: January 11th

First Game: January 18th

Season End Date: March 1st (Last Practice/Game K-2nd Grade, Playoffs for 3rd Grade and up)

Registration Deadline: Friday, November 29th

Registrations will be accepted after the deadline based on availability and will be subject to a $25.00 late fee.
